The Evolution of Shopping Trend: Jet Commerce Thailand Experienced 1.3x Increase in GMV

Over the past 80 years the nature of the way people shop has changed greatly. From making purchases at street stalls in the early days to shopping at the mall. Along with the advancement of technology, the way people shop has also gradually shifted from an offline mode to a hybrid of offline and online in recent years.
This shift has propelled the growth of e-commerce businesses. A research by McKinsey found that the beauty category was not as badly affected as compared to other categories during the Coronavirus. An upward trend in sales has also been observed in the past 2 years.
At Jet Commerce, our brand partner FOREO in Thailand experienced a 1.3x increase in GMV within 4 months after launching on Shopee and a spike in followers of approximately 20,000 on Shopee within a month.
